Mayor's runoff election an exact tie in Colony | People
It seems that the town of Colony is split down the middle when it comes to deciding who will be the next mayor. In the mayoral runoff election held Tuesday, Oct. 9, the results were an exact tie.
Donnis Leeth and Patrick Ward are running against each other in the race and each received a total of 64 votes. A spokesperson for the town of Colony said they've put in a call to the probate judge to decide how to proceed since the runoff is a tie.
